quinteros1963 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I started reading Okinawa Karate:A History of Styles and Masters. Its a good reference of past fathers of karate. Have any of you read it? There are some interesting thought on the traditional methods of training. The past is no more; the future is yet to come. Nothing exist except for the here and now. Our grand business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what's clearly is clearly at hand...Lets continue to train!
sensei8 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Yes, I've read it; I've read both volumes. Volume 1 covers Shuri-te and Shorin-ryu. Volume 2 covers Naha-te, Goju-ryu, and Other Styles Both are very nice books!! A must add to one MA library, imho!! **Proof is on the floor!!!
