mazzybear Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Hi guys, was just wondering if any of you have used the myosource kinetic bands or similar. Just bought some to train at home and in the dojo with. Would like some feedback as to how good they are, do you notice a difference in the speed and power of your kicks. My knee lift when kicking tends to be quite slow, so bought these to see if I improve any. The site reviews say they're good but would like some feedback on here. Any info would be helpful.Thanks.M. Hawkmoon Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I'm thinking of getting some bands, the big colorful ones (Look like the small ones you flicked around at school). To use them to enhance kicks (power, speed is a natural addition form this work) but more than that to enhance my core work. In the dojo I train at we use the 'big elastic bands' to add strength to our kicks (sometimes).I like the idea so want to get some to attach to my garage wall to do some kick work and core work.Did you get the bands you mention and try them, did you feel any difference? “A human life gains luster and strength only when it is polished and tempered.”Sosai Masutatsu Oyama (1923 - 1994) Founder of Kyokushin Karate.
Wastelander Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 We have a full set at the dojo, and it's excellent! It definitely builds explosiveness! mazzybear Posted July 3, 2014 Author Posted July 3, 2014 Did you get the bands you mention and try them, did you feel any difference?Yeah I got them, I like them and can feel a big difference in my speed and height, they're also good for working on stances and think they'll be really great when I come to learn naihanchi for staying in the stance. They're quite pricey, but the benefits I think you get makes them well worth it. M. Be water, my friend.
