Anyone heard of a kata called wong? We have it in our style it looks like a variation of Sanchin. moving forwards with your arms in a sanchin style. I dont know it but was watching the black belts practicing it during advanced class. Any one know of this kata?

It doesnt look like Wanshu. I am beginning to find out we have a very unique karate style here. Very cool!

Do you have a video or link to video showing the kata? Do you have any background information on the kata you can provide?

This, very much so. I'm curious now as to what this kata looks like.

LOL!! Thats a good one! My Sensei says it was named after a shaolin priest who created it. It looks really interesting. At the moment I think our school focuses on 6 kata. There are more but they dont practice them anymore. I wil try to find more of this kata to see if anyone know about it.
