sk0t Posted September 19, 2002 Posted September 19, 2002 That sucks... Are you not going to return because it was a McDojo? I suggest giving it a week...(whether you feel it is a McDojo or not), maybe you just havent seen what it has to offer yet. sk0t"I shall not be judged by what style I know, but how I apply that style againsts yours..."
ZeRo Posted September 19, 2002 Posted September 19, 2002 better luck next time man. hope you have more luck with aikido.
Kensai Posted September 19, 2002 Posted September 19, 2002 Remember if you have any questions about aikido. PM me, or ask away, I would be glad to help. Take Care
Xtreme Fury Posted September 20, 2002 Posted September 20, 2002 If aikido doesn't work out there's always hapkido. Which I heard was like aikido, ju jitsu, taekwondo(only with a lot more handstrikes) put together and also with some weapons. Im not sure on this though.
Kensai Posted September 20, 2002 Posted September 20, 2002 Hapkido is AIKIDO, for the less spirtually minded. I like Hapkido its Aikido's younger sister. As I understand it the grand master of Hapkido, studied with O sensei Ueshiba. He introduced some other styles to create modern Hapkido. Take Care
