Research and rest, I train and teach a total of 5 sessions a week, sometimes 6, so normally need the rest, not as i'm unfit, more to ease any bruises or aches/pains. If I feel okay then a few weights or visit the Gym but not often enough!

I will often be found with a laptop playing a Kata, replaying it bit by bit until I get it - or make it better!

I try to go early to lessons and use the hall if available to practice Kata.
