DWx
Well, first off, I said that the only way I would hit a woman, was if she has a weapon; knife, frying pan. That is really all I said, so I'm confused on how you get a man smaller than me mixed into that. But since you're asking me if a 5'8", 275LB woman and a man smaller than me attacked me with a weapon (bc that's what I was stating in my original post), then no, I wouldn't treat it any differently. If they were unarmed, then clearly I would treat them differently (as I said in my original post). The fat woman has no weapon, I would not hit her while she throws whatever at me. The smaller man has no weapon, I would defend myself properly. That's my moral. I do not hit a woman, unless it threatens my life. Kinda like here in Afghanistan, I don't shoot unless my life or one of my brother's lives are being threatened. Too easy. l Hope that answers your question. With respect JGarner890 I think you may be underestimating what kind of damage an unarmed women can still do. She might not have a knife but she could still throw a mean hook, take a swipe at your eyes, beat you to a pulp. You really would just stand there and take punishment from a women just because she is female? JusticeZero
Yeah, it really unsettles me to see people dismissing female violence. It's really very insulting to the women. JGarner890
I never said I would stand there. I just wouldn't hit a female. I would dodge the punches the best I could and possibly hold her down when/if given the chance. With my 18yrs of MA experience, with fighting professionally in MMA, lol I know a female can hit hard, therefore I do not underestimate anything a female can do. So I believe the misunderstanding is elsewhere. Perfect Practice makes Perfect.
Rateh
As a female, if I wanted to kill someone, I'd hardly need a knife or weapon to do it....PS. please don't take that as a threat toward yourself or anyone else Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start. - Nido Qubein

JGarner890
It is a lot harder to kill some one with your bare hands than most people think. It's not like the movies.I do not fight anymore. I officially retired in 2012 but haven't fought since 2009, when I enlisted in the Army. Perfect Practice makes Perfect.
Hawkmoon
Me no not ever at all period.Prisoners..... have rights as well.... "Me no not ever at all period."Show respect to everyone is a primary rule (almost law) with me.I can honestly say that it is this rule that has not had me in a position (of my own making) where I've had or felt the need to take a more direct approach with the other person......regardless of there sex!As a female, if I were to attack someone, I would hope the person would at least try to defend themselves. In any dojo I have attended, my opponent is treated as an equal. This is the respectful and correct thing to do as far as I'm concerned.Another rule in my life...fight the man (person) not the grade (belt)I feel a desperate need to lighten the mood a little of my post. Is it on moral reasons?Going into a fight with someone hell bent on hurting you and not wanting to defend yourself doesn't seem right to me. No matter whether they are male or female.
