ShoriKid Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 I haven't hung the Sandan certificate at this time and may hang a copy in the dojo. All of mine for the past decade plus have come from the same set of instructors. Signatures all match up, though the certificates all are slightly different. They are far more interested in the training than the paper work. Which will some day lead to all sorts of trouble I'm sure. Kisshu fushin, Oni te hotoke kokoro. inventor Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Displayed in my dojo are all of my certificates including Green belt, Brown belt, Black 1 through black 8, shibucho, soshibucho, karate master, karate teacher, shihan, and chief karate teacher. They are displayed to honor my teacher, an Okinawan Grandmaster who signed each of them. They are not displayed in my home; as I choose not to bring attention to myself.
bushido_man96 Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I have a notebook that I keep most of my certificates and credentials in. At the TKD school I am a member of, our instructor hangs up the black belt certificates for each of us, showing our current rank, and he also hangs the instructor certification that the 3rd degrees earn.He does have some certs still hanging up from students that aren't there anymore. If it were me, I'd take those down. He may take them down yet. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
