I mean you have your favorite techniques, but what are the set ups?

When does your technique work?

Do you read your opponents posture - balance?

Grip?

Pushing , pulling?

What?

You're right on all accounts. You need to feel your opponent's movements. Personally, my favorite techniques come off the opponent grabbing me first. So it's a little easier. But what you're saying is true. It's just very difficult to get good at.

"It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenius."
