FangPwnsAll7
My current belt is far too long. It goes down past my knees and when I kick the belt always slaps me in the face. I actually wrote down on my test form where it says size, I put a size smaller. I'm really thin so I got a size 2. I currently have a size 3. I have to deal with it until I get my new belt on the promotion class which isn't for 2 and 1/2 weeks. I'm not even sure if my instructor looks at the paper? Maybe they'll still give me a 3 but should I purchase a size 2 belt from online or wait? Or should I deal with getting slapped in the face? (It kinda bothers me) It is too small to wrap around my waist a third time though. It only comes out an inch from my green stripe. I might be able to post a picture of the belt if it helps, but it is a bad picture so yeah... It was taken a few weeks ago. Lupin1
I certainly wouldn't bother buying a new belt you may only have for a week or less by the time it ships out to you. Ask your instructor if he has a size two you can borrow until then, or perhaps ask a higher rank close to your size if he or she has their old orange belt they'd let you borrow. Definitely not worth buying a new one at this point.
FangPwnsAll7
Oh, I meant purchasing my new rank belt online a size smaller (assuming I get size 3 again.) Tang Soo Do - Red Belt (2nd GUP)
Lupin1
Oh yeah. In that case, definitely. Hopefully your instructor will have noticed you keep getting whacked in the face by your belt and will automatically order you a smaller size and if not, hopefully he read your request for a smaller size on your form, but if not, definitely buy yourself a smaller size. sfbaywalk
Why not just cut it? Easy enough to sew the end, but not necessary. Or dip some glue on the end. Don't put it in the laundry.
FangPwnsAll7
The instructor would notice; he prefers that you don't "modify" your belt in any way. I'll wait for a size 2 on the promotion (hopefully) Tang Soo Do - Red Belt (2nd GUP)

I'll wait for a size 2 on the promotion (hopefully)I'm surprised he let you have a belt that long to be honest. Definitely tell him that 3 is too big and you'll need a 2, that way, he knows ahead of time. Shodan - Shaolin Kempo███████████████▌█

robert01
To get new belt you have to beat your opponent for that you require more and more practice and stamina . http://www.gracieoc.comhttp://www.gracieoc.com/about-rilion-graciehttp://www.gracieoc.com/women
