Harkon72
I want to buy a sparring set (Hands, Feet, Shins and Head Guard) for Karate Sparring. My Sensei sells the whole set to fit me at £65.I saw a set from ebay at the same price but with £12 ppMy Sensei deals with Blitzsport here in the UK. Are they any good? Has anyone seen a better deal elsewhere? They are dipped foam BTW. Look to the far mountain and see all.
DWx
I've always had good service from Blitzsport but have never bought any of their sparring gear. They've always looked a bit cheap to me (compared to Macho) but I've never worn them so could be mistaken. But assuming you're getting a set with hands, feet, shins and head guard, £65 for the lot is a very good price as if you bought them individual it'd be around £80: http://www.blitzsport.com/Products/Dipped-FoamFor comparison, you can get the Macho Dyna set for £90 or the Warrior set for £100. Harkon72
I can see that the deal from Sensei Williams is a good one.His top student uses Blitzsport gear, so I might give them a try.Thank You for your reply, it was very useful. DWx
Don't know if this is any good to you but martialartshop.co.uk (who I've also used before) have some clearance sparring sets available:£30 for a set (minus the headguard) which looks to be just a generic brand dipped foam gear. Also if you built your own set up from the T-Sport gear on that site (which I think is equal quality to Macho), it'd be £63:headguardfeethandsshins "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
Harkon72
Thank you, for the sake of £2 I think I'll support Sensei Williams. He might offer me a discount if I buy the Association hoodie from him too.Cheers for the heads up though. Osu! Look to the far mountain and see all.
