sensei8 Posted March 8, 2013 Author Share Posted March 8, 2013 To everyone...Thank you for your many kind words; they mean everything to Nathan and our family.The Owasso Rams are Area Champions!! They're now in the State Championship Round held at the ORU Maybee Center. They won game 1 with a score of 77-55. Tonights game, 03/08/13, is game #2; this is the first time in 80 years that the Owasso Rams have made it to round #2. If they win tonight, they'll play for the State Championship....GO RAMS!!That night for Nathan appears to be the only game that he'll play; it appears that is was a one time only thing. Even though the coach told the Tulsa World and myself that "...he might play, we'll see." Nathan wants to play just one more time, but I don't see it happening because wins and losses are the job of the coach to protect. However, Nathan could've played for the same amount of time as that night last night because they won by 22 points.I can see it in Nathan's eyes..."Please let me play just one more time", although this is more like the wish of a very proud dad! sensei8 Posted March 9, 2013 Author Share Posted March 9, 2013 Well, the Owasso Rams lost their round 2 of the Championship to the number 1 team by only 3 points, and that was after 3 OT. The one thing that frustrated us all was that the other team would hold the ball alot to wear down the clock. To bad there's no shot clock in high school basketball.
