Simple answers for me:

1 = I practice Kyokushin because I have done so (all be it on and off) since I was 7 years old. I could not imagine life without Martial Arts.

2 = It has given me the drive, focus and determination to keep going when things get tough, both in work and homelife.

Most things worth doing will not be easy, and determination and perseverance are skills that are of the utmost importance.
