Either directly or indirectly; however, there still etched into my heart, mind, and soul.Maxims remind us of the core principles governing our training, and how we live our lives. I welcome your comments, as well as I welcome you to share some of your dearest maxims.Enjoy...1} Hyaku Ren Jitoku...Practice Makes Perfect2} Onko Chishin...Study the old to understand the new3} Ken Zen Ich'i Nyo...The Fist and Zen are One4} Ko Un Ryu Sui...Work in Harmony with the Power of Nature5} Chototsu Moshin...Grasp opportunity fiercely 6} Nana Korobi, Ya Oki...Seven times down, eight times up7} Kenin Fubatsu...Strong, Patient, Immovable8} Shin Gi Tai...Unite your mind, body, and technique9} Ichi I Senshin...Focus Everything on a Single Goal10} Hatsuun Jindo...Parting the Clouds, Seeking the Way11} Karate Ni Sente Nashi...There is no first attack in karate12} Iki Sho Ten...Will and Energy will lift you up 13} Seiryoku Zenyo...Maximum effect for minimum effortHere's a maxim I penned...The Proof Is On The Floor, one day I might have this translated into Japanese.Not all of these maxims are believed in, which is fine because we're different individuals with different ideas and the like.
