Since i'm doing combat hapkido, i find it hard to do without a partner, an dhave made some dummies to compensate, but i'm still having trouble comming up witha program for myself, any thoughts? oh and i will talk to my instructor about this on Saturday. SBN Doug
Unfortunately, there's not a lot you can do. We use meditations to visualize them, and make the moves in our mind to be lightning fast. However, without a real joint to lock, or pressure point to activate, you'll never be sure to have it right. You can always look into getting together with some classmates outside of the dojang. Just be extremely careful. Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing. SD
the thing is, my teacher holds classes for tkd only, he teaches me combat hapkido, but he doesn't have his own combat hapkido school. I take private lessons. bummer huh? no other school mates I'll talk to him about it though, maybe there's somone he knows at his tkd school that does alot of self defense stuff as well. Or i could just beat the piss outta my parents
