Punchdrunk Posted November 10, 2002 Posted November 10, 2002 My sensei has a favorite set of pressure points under my jaw that make my arms go kind of numb. I can't pull it off but it works to buy him time when I have a good position in grappling. I've had a few people apply pressure points to my neck that hurt like hell and limit my movement . I wouldn't use that in a fight though because the second they let go all they have is a more pissed off version of me. One cannot choose to be passive without the option to be aggressive.
Venezolano Posted November 10, 2002 Posted November 10, 2002 i think the easiest way to get someone unconcious is to choke him, it could be with a rear naked choke for example.. Valencia - Venezuela.
jiu-jitsu fighter Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 i think hes referring to a neck crank, "When we go to the ground, you are in my world, the ground is the ocean, I am the shark, and most people don't even know how to swim"
Punchdrunk Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 jjfighter- I could see were you would think that but bad as they hurt, Iv'e never heard of passing out to a neck crank. One cannot choose to be passive without the option to be aggressive.
jiu-jitsu fighter Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 i don't really like neck cranks so , i don't know much about them "When we go to the ground, you are in my world, the ground is the ocean, I am the shark, and most people don't even know how to swim"
SBN Doug Posted January 22, 2003 Posted January 22, 2003 Don't know of one for instance unconsciousness. Knee buckling, arm numbing, yes. I only know of the more JJ style headlock which cuts off blood flow to the brain, without cutting off breathing. Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
