Harkon72 Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 This is the best Shukokai Karate Video I have seen on the internet, what do you think guys? We don't all train like this, but I was impressed. Look to the far mountain and see all.
Zaine Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Laudable physicality. I don't like the form of some of their punches though. Martial arts training is 30% classroom training, 70% solo training.https://www.instagram.com/nordic_karate/
Dobbersky Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Nice, punching sequences seem to be a bit "iffy" also some of the kicks but as a general traditional karate dojo training its ok. Shukokai, from Shito Ryu, is either close to Kyokushin full contact or semi or non contact WKA WJF or WUKO rules karate "Challenge is a Dragon with a Gift in its mouth....Tame the Dragon and the Gift is Yours....." DoctorQui Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Like the others have said, some good strong karate but some of the forms are a bit awkward, and some of the punches are not full. OSU
Harkon72 Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 I'm sorry DQ, what do you mean by the punches not being "Full"? Look to the far mountain and see all.
bushido_man96 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Looks like some fun training. The punching on the bags seems a funky style, but with lots of power. I think that video has floated around before, too. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
DaveAbramson Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 I'm not gonna lie... I wouldn't want to be any where near the receiving end of those punches. Great form, power, and accuracy behind those blows... My name is Dave and I attend martial arts classes in Gilbert, Arizona at Sandoval Freestyle Karate.
