sensei8
If you had 3 months to devote to one thing...What would it be?Remember, this question is MA related...thanks. **Proof is on the floor!!!
Wastelander
Does "Naihanchi application" count as one thing? I would love to spend 3 months just breaking down Naihanchi, and drilling its applications until they become engrained in my muscle memory. Lupin1
Is footwork one thing? Stepping, shifting weight, turning, feeling the flow as I move, balance, and keeping myself solidly rooted while still nimble and ready to quickly move in any direction. I could easily spend 3 months working on just that. If that's too broad, I could even spend all that time just working on seisan stance and stepping in seisan stance. Forget all the other stances. Zaine
I think that I would devote it to re-learning and mastering Chinto. I might not master it in three months but I would certainly be well on the way to. Martial arts training is 30% classroom training, 70% solo training.https://www.instagram.com/nordic_karate/
bushido_man96
I would spend 3 months on drilling and picking out forms applications, figuring out the process and working things over and over again. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
evergrey
Relaxing! Haha. In training, in sparring. http://kyokushinchick.blogspot.com/"If you can fatally judo-chop a bull, you can sit however you want." -MasterPain, on why Mas Oyama had Kyokushin karateka sit in seiza with their clenched fists on their thighs. tallgeese
Great question! I think I'd take my three months to devote to something I haven't done before. Get a full on, every night total immersion in something I haven't explored before. Something with minimal real combat application at any level that I could just experience as an art. Iaido probably. http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
Harkon72
I would take a training Holiday in Russia, in a Sombo training school. Look to the far mountain and see all.
Harlan
I'd take a course in basic, conversational Japanese with an associated calligraphy component. Leaves fall.
DWx
My side kick. Everything about it and everything that contributes to a great kick including flexibility, speed, balance. I'd want to work towards being able to throw it from anywhere, be able to set it up and then deliver a knockout kick.
