Zaine
Interesting article, thanks! Martial arts training is 30% classroom training, 70% solo training.https://www.instagram.com/nordic_karate/
bushido_man96
I skimmed some of it, and will take it all in when I get more time. Thanks for sharing this, Danielle. There was a thread that went up a while back with a Youtube link of several different masters, one even being a Chinese stylist, I think, demonstrating their versions of a same kata, one after the other. Was it this same kata? If so, that link would only enrich this thread. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

Zaine
The closest example for me is the Seibukan example. Martial arts training is 30% classroom training, 70% solo training.https://www.instagram.com/nordic_karate/

Maybe you could post a video of you doing that kata? "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
bassaiguy
I do the Shotokan version, Hangetsu. Although since my roots are more JKA than SKIF my style differs slightly from what Kanazawa does in the video. I commented on this video on my blog a few weeks ago. The link is on my sig.
