lowereastside Posted February 27, 2013 Share Posted February 27, 2013 Look - we all have our EGOS - Every Time You knock someone's ability in Martial Arts - or knock a particular style - or Teacher of a particular style it's about Ego. It part of our nature - Putting ourselves on top of someone else.Look - I'm Guilty of this - there was a time that my Teacher and Style was the best and everything was second rate. However, getting older and wiser - My ego is not as big - But it's still there - One of the hardest things in life is being Honest with our selves - Martial Arts is no different. BUT it is our duty to fight it every day.When I heard someone boasting or showing off how his style is better or his dojo is better or whatever, I cannot prevent thinking that the best way to block yourself of learning new things it precisely think that you always know everything.
