bushido_man96 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I think everyone has a different way of focusing. Some focus well with music, some don't, and some don't care either way. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
jimmyorttiz Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Martial Art is incredibly enforcement training and you must need focusing while practising and absolutely amazing concentration also must. So, listening loud music can be silly thing and it also brake your focus during Martial Art practice. So, listening theme based music is quite good enough.I am not completely sure what you are saying here, and I do not want to misunderstand you. I am not sure what you mean by "enforcement training", since that sounds like training for police. Also, I do not know what you mean when you say that theme based music is good, but that all loud music will break focus. What kind of music do you mean by "theme music" that will not break focus? Do you mean movie themes, or something else?Simply, I was trying to say that thrash and black metal music terms are quite slow music and which can be good while practising Martai art techniques. jiu-jitsu moves
SavageGeek Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 I usually run traditional Korean, Chinese, and Japanese music for my work-out background. Now that I think about it... once I get started, I'm not sure I really notice that it's there.
Cobra_Kai Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I like listening to video game and movie music, Star Wars, halo, lord of the rings I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.~ Bruce Lee
barrypardue Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I listen to classic oriental music , i know kind of silly but it makes me remember the roots and makes me feel like i am training in the old days. Martial Arts is not just a hobby, Its a way of life!!!
