Ulubis Minor
Not sure if this already a topic, or not really appropriate for this, but I have to ask what music do you listen to, if you listen to music, when practicing martial arts? Harkon72
I'm not a stereotypical "Eye of the Tiger" trainee, but I love Rock music when I do Kihon and Kata, AC/DC is my favorite. Echos of the 80's I expect. Look to the far mountain and see all.
evergrey
Oh, well when I'm at home I listen to stuff like Depeche Mode and Florence and the Machines, or some sort of metal or epic movie soundtracks. At open sparring last Sunday they were straight up playing Gangnam Style though, LOLOL!Oppan Gangnam Style! *thigh kick*OSU! http://kyokushinchick.blogspot.com/"If you can fatally judo-chop a bull, you can sit however you want." -MasterPain, on why Mas Oyama had Kyokushin karateka sit in seiza with their clenched fists on their thighs. Ulubis Minor
I guess I do listen to "Eye of the Tiger" every now and then, but I don't listen to music while doing kata/forms because I find it is a bit distracting. JusticeZero
Usually just the obvious. On rare occasion that it isn't available but other stuff is, something like Juno Reactor, Glitch Mob, Infected Mushroom, or KMFDM is passable, but eeh. darksoul
I'm a metalhead, so if I listen to music while training, it will probably be metal. Shodan - Shaolin Kempo███████████████▌█
bushido_man96
I don't listen too much right now, but anything with good beat, likely hard rock or such. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
evergrey
Oh yeah I'll play some Juno Reactor from time to time! http://kyokushinchick.blogspot.com/"If you can fatally judo-chop a bull, you can sit however you want." -MasterPain, on why Mas Oyama had Kyokushin karateka sit in seiza with their clenched fists on their thighs. tallgeese
Up beat is fine sparring. Or conditioning. Classic rock works best for me.For rolling, I really prefer something laid back. http://alphajiujitsu.com/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJhRVuwbm__LwXPvFMReMww
