chrisw08 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I bought her a Bear Scout Bow. It has 8-13 lbs and She draws it back about 2/3 She is about to be 8. Problem Is i cant find any arrows that are light enough and I need it at 24 inches. It is supposed to be like 6 grains per pound right so I need a arrow that is at least 78 grains but the lightest arrow at a pro shop was like 250 and a bought an arrow at wal mart and it turned out to be like 530 grains which was way to much. I dont know what to do to get the right sized arrow
bushido_man96 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Check out a Cabella's or a Bass Pro Shop. Barring that, you might check into some youth AAU archery competition stuff; they may have info on where to get what you need. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Harkon72 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Yes, they make carbon or composite arrows, it just depends how much you want to spend, good luck! Look to the far mountain and see all.
jaypo Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 If you have an "Academy" sporting goods store nearby, they usually have youth arrows for a couple of bucks each. Seek Perfection of CharacterBe FaithfulEndeavorRespect othersRefrain from violent behavior.
