The only way you can improve your kata and make it perfect is to stay focused and clear your mind and concentrate on your form make sure your forms is accurate and strong and make it snappy also make sure your timing is good when doing your forms make the judges want you make them get your attention and make sure your kia is loud that everybody can hear it put a flair into it my sensie said when you get into a karate tournament put action into it and make it live and make sure when you do the kata you have to be serious and focus and make the judges want you. You look them at the eye all serious then you stand in yoi position and say your name your style and your kata loud and when your doing your kata pretend your fighting somebody and make it strong like you gonna kill or hurt that person when your doing kata and guarantee you win 1st place.
