DaveAbramson Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 I train to stay in shape, plus I enjoy punching and kicking a target! I enjoy physical activities and karate is right at the top of my list! My name is Dave and I attend martial arts classes in Gilbert, Arizona at Sandoval Freestyle Karate.
shanny_kimura Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 I train because I'm in love with martial arts. I train in 10 different arts 7 times a day. Non stop for the whole day lol. It's also a good way to stay fit, in shape. To respect yourself as well as others. Also for self-Defense. Key word is Defense ! It's self-Defense guys, not self-offence. Use it when called upon. Safe training everyone osssuuu Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt - Kodokan Judo 2nd Dan black belt - ITF TaeKwonDo black belt - Kyokushin Karate black belt - Shotokan Karate black belt - Kenpo Karate 4th Dan black belt - Yoshinkan Aikido brown belt
oitsuki Posted February 26, 2013 Posted February 26, 2013 For me, it is all about learning more and more about yourself and your limits: to improve each movement until it is perfect and to look at what scare you and face it
Nabil Kazama Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 To train, to become strong, to be able to pass on my Shotokan teachings to my children (If I have any in future), a sense of achievement, I love my training and also for exercise. "It's not the style that's important, it's the practitioner. No style is superior to the other if you practice and train hard, ANY style can be effective."- Me!!!!!!!
sensei8 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I love it!!Seriously, I started when I was 7 yrs old because I was bullied at elementary school everyday. Now, I train because I love it!! **Proof is on the floor!!!
xo-karate Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Alternative of not training is so scary I need the work out and also to fight dementia - learn new skills and be active.
barrypardue Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I do it for self discipline. And to help with stress and health. Martial Arts is not just a hobby, Its a way of life!!!
