pittbullJudoka Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Shorikid wanted me to tell the tale of by day at the Tn State BJJ Tournament. Well I gave a free lesson of why you should tap.http://m.youtube.com/user/baird79#/watch?v=bjZds5_M9WM
ShoriKid Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 I'll go ahead and apologize for the video quality. I was the camera man and I got chased out of position during the last few seconds of the match. PittbullJudoka is in the white gi for this one. Note the taped ankles on the guy in the black. In the previous match his feet got crossed in back mount/control and was put in a straight ankle lock. The guy kept trying not to tap and I honestly can't recall if the ref stopped the match or he finally gave in and tapped. His instructor was trying to pass the kids limp off as a foot cramp. pittbullJudoka Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 This one should work I was using my phone on the link. Shorikid he finally yelled out to stop in his first match.
DWx Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 What actually happened? Bit of an idiot to keep going like that, especially if he'd already injured himself due to not tapping.Congrats on the win "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
pittbullJudoka Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 I got a standing kimura, he continued to attempt to drag me down to take my back. His arm was locked when we hit the ground so I kept the pressure on. And it went pop.
ps1 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Nice match pittbull. How long have you been training...how long a blue? "It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenius."
pittbullJudoka Posted September 7, 2012 Author Posted September 7, 2012 Thanks ps1. I've been training about three years. I got my blue last year. Now keep in mind I only get to train with my coach one day a week.
