striking_cobra Posted September 25, 2002 Posted September 25, 2002 i dissagree with you guys on the dancing part, break dancing could be a big help with bjj as it can help with your coordination on the ground...and bjj teaches you hip movements and body control wich can help with breakdancing... i would consider using one to compliment the other...sort of like cross training...but i suppose every has an opinion and you can agree or dissagree with mine... SD Posted September 26, 2002 Posted September 26, 2002 if you want to improve your breakdancing, work on your break dancing. and it depends on the fighter.
Red J Posted September 26, 2002 Posted September 26, 2002 This thread reminded me of a song. "Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting". So if you dance to this song .....relax, J/K.....Uh, now I can't get it out of my head. I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
SD Posted September 27, 2002 Posted September 27, 2002 "Everybody was kung fu fighting those kicks were as fast as lightning, in fact it was a little bit frightning" that all i know
JerryLove Posted October 2, 2002 Posted October 2, 2002 They are arts. They are inanimate and cannot therefore "help" at all (nor preform any other action-words (verbs) like "beat"). Will you practicing Jujistu help you dance? Maybe. https://www.clearsilat.com
Kickchop19 Posted October 4, 2002 Posted October 4, 2002 i hear Brazilian ju jitsu could help with flexibility. Aslo i read a magazine where a breakdancer recomended Brazilian Jujitsu for flexibility.
Bon Posted October 5, 2002 Posted October 5, 2002 lol, wha ? Flexibility == stretching ... It takes sacrifice to be the best. There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.
