SimonAsh86 Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Im fairly lucky in the sense i can remember the movements for katas i have done. The problem i have is preventing my feet going to wide/short or too stretched in length than they should be. Sometimes all my feet seem to want to do is go into zenkutsu dachi.

Sometimes all my feet seem to want to do is go into zenkutsu dachi.I changed from Wado to Shotokan. In most katas where zenkutsu or niko achi Dachis are used in Wado, they are replaced with mainly Kotkutsu Dachi in Shotokan. I am always slipping into the Wado way, its infuriating!
DWx Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 My current form, Yoo Sin, is a pain in my side. I just don't like the form. However, I've probably found myself liking some of the self-defense applications I can pick out of it.I kinda like it But its just soooo long! Not Karate but I hate having to do one of our 2nd dan TKD ones called Juche. Its the one that makes me feel like a white belt all over again. "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
bushido_man96 Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 We don't do Juche, but I do have the form in a book somewhere. Maybe when I have lots of free time, I'll look into some of those other ITF forms. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
