Ulubis Minor
I don't think there is any "Pure system" because everyone's style is different from everyone elses. BUT! You may use the same techniques as someone and have a similar way of fighting but not the same. Harkon72
I practice Shukokai too, it for example is a recent development into modern Karate. Based on a tradition that began in Okinawa and developed in Japan and the rest of the world. It has many traits similar to other styles, but noticeable differences that make the style what it is. Osu! Arigato! Look to the far mountain and see all.
xo-karate
Pure : "unmixed with any other matter"Martial Arts are developed in a long period of time and technique is always developing - every new master will bring something new and every time will demand different techniques. Purity would mean a stopped time and comparing it to something that has been - or that some one can define what is pure and other will accept it.There is nothing wrong in training traditional karate - you can call it pure or there is nothing wrong in "hanshi -karate" where the senior defines orthodox-techniques - and claims it pure. And I don't say that the most effective techniques are PURE - no they are just right for the right person and right situation. So what are we after here? Some kind of technique where class is doing things the same way - aca correctly - pure?
