I mean if you did, you would know that was mentioned several times through the whole event. Even commentators said something about the stipulations before the match and how it was a terrible call after because of that reason. So wait, you want me to try and dig it up somewhere on the Internet so I can "show" you something everyone knows who has seen the fight? All I can say to that is no, I won't bother to. And if it's so easy (which I am guessing you might say in retort on why I just don't find it) you do it. Shouldn't be a problem if it's so easy. I am sure you can find it somewhere. I have not seen the whole match. From what I saw Gracie was not in a good spot. YOSHIDA DID NOT CALL THE MATCH. The ref called the match. The rules said he couldn't but he did any way. How did Yoshida cheat? By telling the ref Gracie was out? So what a fighter can say anything they want. The ref is the offical, not the fighter. The only way a fighter can stop a match is by saying they can't go on. They can't speak for their opponent. Yoshida cheated? That is dillussional. As far as chokes go, how many do you know two, three? There are basically two types of chokes. One is designed to inflict pain, the other is designed cut off the supply of air and blood to the brain. The latter of the two does not always feel that uncomfortable till it is too late. Agree with it,or not Gracie lost. Stop crying and deal with it. Doesn't matter how the match went, it might not have been fair, but it was called as a win for Yoshida. It's over! I guess we will never agree on this. I pray there will be a rematch and soon. Then this argument will be settled once and for all.

Aside from that, you are wrong yet again...you really need to stop speaking about something you have no idea about. You watched clips? That's great, must mean you are well informed, more so then someone who has watched the fight. Oh, and you are wrong YET again. Yoshida did look up at the ref and say he was out. Maybe you should go back to those clips you viewed? And now you are questing MY technical skill? Are you trying to make this personal or something? Off hand, I know at the very least 10 chokes from mount side mount back and standing (variation of the guillotine) Several of which are slow chokes with the GI. So yeah, I know what they are. I guess you don't since you have misunderstood what point I was making about them. And totally sidelining the point of me even bringing them up. Ya know, the confused woozy part when you get the blood flowing again. Im not sure where you thought I was crying. But I can assure you I wasn't...especially when I am so very correct. And why are you showing the fight winners? We know it was listed as a win. The question was was it a legitimate win. But I guess you missed that too. Again you have missed the chance to prove me wrong...instead you just proved yourself incorrect once again. PS: Don't make this personal, that would be a shame. jiu-jitsu fighter Posted February 1, 2003 Posted February 1, 2003 loi loi, that was in the contract it really happened, if you dig hard enough you will fing the contract , theres no doubt about that, the ref could not stop the fight at any costs , thats what happened and both of them agreed to it . loiloi we are not arguing that yakuze would have won anyways, he might have, he might have been better than royce, thats not the point , WATCH THE FIGHT AND YOU WILL SEE, he did not win , and don't argue if you didn't see the whole fight, how would you feel if the referee broke the contract and stopped the fight, you would be pretty upset, this is not a bjj .v.s. judo issue this is a poor judgement issue ,the ref should have give yakuze a yellow card for stalling and he should have continued the fight, dig up the contract and you will see for yourself, otherwise , don't let your ignorance get in the way "When we go to the ground,you are in my world, the ground is the ocean, I am the shark,and most people don't even know how to swim"
