MuayTB1 Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 We have like 5 subjects on it so reply under " talking about chi so you don't take more space and you can see what other people are saying. "Don't think!! Feel..." -Bruce Leehttps://www.muaythaiboxing.friendpages.comThis site is dumb but I made it so it is good.
Deathcometh Posted April 16, 2002 Posted April 16, 2002 Rocko it is real trust me I know it sounds hard to believe but have you ever tried it.
Phantasmatic Posted April 16, 2002 Posted April 16, 2002 I have tried to do some chi techniques but I haven't ever made them work in a real fighting scenario. "Which one is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?" - Obi Wan Kenobi
Jack Posted April 18, 2002 Posted April 18, 2002 Chi is real, but it is no 'mysterious supernatural force' it is always made out to be. Its a lifeforce of sorts, and is very useful in developing coordination of movement, balance, and fluidity. Moving from your Itten(Tanden) can produce grace and power... but it is nothing magical. Mo_Tseu Posted April 25, 2002 Posted April 25, 2002 Everybody is thinking that chi is a mystical energy but it's just a mix of the four energy in the universe: gravitationnal, electromagnetic, nuclear an weak force. It's just the energy that make your body work. When you are meditating, it's just the concentration of your 4 energies. Wing Chun Kung Fu (Yip Man) andKali (Pekiti Tersia) martial artist (no belts needed)
KickChick Posted April 25, 2002 Posted April 25, 2002 KI/Chi ... As MuayTB1 mentioned in his post, we have many threads on this here in the Internal Arts forum. A highly debatable topic... is it real or not _________________ KarateForums Sensei 1st dan Black Tae Kwon Do CardioKickboxing/Fitness Inst.
