BarbedTerror Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 What'd the difference between black and white gi's? As in, traditional value and rank. I want a black gi, they look awesome. Pain is weakness leaving the body.

Color. If you want a black Gi, buy one, but if you want to wear your new black Gi in class, well, you best ask your Sensei first. Some schools don't allow kyu ranks to wear a black gi, solid or mixed with a white top/bottom, unless they're a black belt, or brown belt at leastGood luck. **Proof is on the floor!!!
Dobbersky Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Black Gi's look nice when they are new, try having the same Gi for 4 years + and tell me its still black. A white Gi stays White, although I have seen some go "grey" but that's due to the way the person washed it.
