Michael3 Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Does anyone know where I can get a lightweight, 100% cotton gi bottom with elastic waistband?
Wastelander Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Pretty much any martial arts supply company will have those. Century is the most common and is reasonably priced:http://www.centurymartialarts.com/Uniforms/Lightweight_Uniforms/6_oz_Lightweight_Student_Uniform.aspx Kishimoto-Di | 2014-Present | Sensei: Ulf KarlssonShorin-Ryu/Shinkoten Karate | 2010-Present: Yondan, Renshi | Sensei: Richard Poage (RIP), Jeff Allred (RIP)Shuri-Ryu | 2006-2010: Sankyu | Sensei: Joey Johnston, Joe Walker (RIP)Judo | 2007-2010: Gokyu | Sensei: Joe Walker (RIP), Ramon Rivera (RIP), Adrian RiveraIllinois Practical Karate | International Neoclassical Karate Kobudo Society
Michael3 Posted February 21, 2012 Author Posted February 21, 2012 Thanks. I have been able to find cotton/polyester that are lightweight with elastic, but none that are 100% cotton. The Century brand does not seem to have 100% cotton.
Kodakmint Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Just look at different martial arts websites
Michael3 Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 That is what I have been doing, but I have been unsuccessful. I was hoping maybe someone knows of a brand I have not been able to find
Wastelander Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Is there a particular reason you want a LIGHTWEIGHT gi that is 100% cotton? It's much easier to find a 100% cotton middleweight or heavyweight gi. The problem with 100% cotton lightweight ones is that they tear apart really easily.
