Liver Punch Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 My medicine makes me feel like death, so exercise is out. I'm sweating profusely, so going out in public is out. In conjunction with sweating, I also feel frozen, so going outside in the winter is out. My WiiMotes are charging at the moment, so video games are out. I'm stuck here, on the couch, watching TV. Unfortunately, Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift is the best thing on TV. As someone who considers himself of the car culture, this is worse than beating myself over the head with a hammer. In fact, I might try the hammer thing for a while. "A gun is a tool. Like a butcher knife or a harpoon, or uhh... an alligator."― Homer, The Simpsons
Groinstrike Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 How is the staph doing?? Will you be ready to go for friday???I am hoping to be somewhat healed up by then as i jacked my knee all up tuesday at the gym.
Liver Punch Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 The good news is that The Forbidden Kingdom came on after that god awful Fast and Furious movie. The staph seems to be about 95% healed, leaving behind what looks like really nasty road-rash. I shouldn't be contagious at this point, so as long as we keep ourselves and our equipment clean once we're done...I think it's safe. I'm bringing the stagecoach gun down, although I'm not sure I'm going to use "00" in it, I'll probably put a few rounds of bird shot through it and call it an official wall-hanger. "A gun is a tool. Groinstrike Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Im going to try to call Doc and Walk later today to see if they might make an appearence friday. Tim will not be present as he is taking Bert on a romantic weekend retreat to Evansville Indiana of all places. I ran into adrian the other day and shamed him to coming back up to the gym, he came up monday and has gotten soft playing music and hanging out with groupies all day.So far the head count for the beatfest is Me, Bill, You, Bryan, Possibly Spaceman, and possibly some of our young people in need of guidance, and maybe adrian.
Liver Punch Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 Groupies man...they do nothing but make you soft. I'm not sure how well my body is going to function after 10 days of heavy medication and no activity. I think it's probably best to work out as hard as possible, for as long as possible, ignoring any warning signs our bodies put forth about failure, damage, and breakage. "A gun is a tool.
