Are these hardwood nunchaku better than the cheap $10 pairs

Saw these nunchaku and they were $15 I wanted a 7 link chain nunchaku to train with. I bout a heavy $10 pair but it wasnt from a martial art sale I wanted to know if these are pretty good and have more balance then the cheap ones that are bulky and 7 link please any advice would be thankful

I prefer rope to chain, so in my opinion go with rope
