I feel your pain :( Been suffering for a while now.. which is just great seeing as I have an exam tomorrow! Just use the extra awake time to browse KF :P

In all seriousness, I've been finding it really hard to sleep lately too :( Brain does not want to stop switch off lately!

Dunno if sleep tablets might help you? I've always tried to stay away from them as didn't want to get reliant on them. But last week was really bad for me so I went out, got some and took some. Made me super tired but still couldn't switch off!

Whenever I can't sleep, I lie down, make sure it's as dark and quiet as possible, and count backwards from 10,000. I don't think I've ever made it past 9,960 or so.

I don't have insomnia, but I love staying up late! Last night, I got home from the gym at about 11:30, had a snack, read a couple chapters of a book, listened to a couple chapters of an audiobook while playing a mindless game on my phone, then streamed a little anime before crashing at just after 3pm. Tonight, maybe I'll do a little late night iTunesU. I just started a free online Stanford computer programming course. I'm only a couple lectures in, but it's pretty good so far.

Luckily, I rarely have problems in sleeping and usually fall asleep in 5 minutes after going to bed. When I feel uneasy in bed, I lie on my back, breathe deeply and count my breaths. This always works well :)
