Im pretty sure we are the only system in the world that has trailer-gate removal and replacement featured in their belt test. Im pretty sure that i had no more oxygen left in my body at that point and i might as well have been trying to do quantam physics than mess with that gate.

As I watch this, I can pretty much point out a million mistakes that I make and things I need to work on. Regardless, at this point we've been at it for about 3 hours and have finally made it into the dojo for "technical instruction".

The first link wouldn't work, youtube has deemed it to far to large and beyond all our comprehension.

^^Fixed^^ It was apparently like 2 hours long. They frown upon that. Several smaller ones are alright though. They're on the way.

So, my theft of a crutch for use as a weapon is documented. Very nice.

Looking back, I think that having black belt candidates do a major portion of their test doing technical instruction for lower ranks is a really good idea. It means squaring away a couple of newer guys for a day of activity, but it's still a good idea. How a black belt can transmit technical details to a newer guys is important, plus guys who have been around a while will fill in any blanks he leaves out more readily than less experienced guys.

Highlight of the video so far, Tallgeese clearing corners with an imaginary rifle that happens to be a crutch.

The complete obliviousness to the fact that he's clearing a room with rifle/crutch is pretty hard to top.

I'm glad we worked in all the stuff that I don't like. And let me just go on record as saying that it's not a matter of men to seeing merit in it, nor is it a matter of me viewing it as useless. I'd teach this stuff to anyone - I just prefer "hulk smash". Oh, and uniforms - I hate uniforms.

That is, in fact, the famed "canine blade". That's also the ancient plunger that we've used in the bathroom for years. My kata is functional in both utility and destruction.

It's pretty much the embodiment of destrucity.
