I was actually sick over the holiday, and the wife was working overnight, so we are belating Thanksgiving for later this week. I'm still deciding what to cook.

Sorry to hear that, JusticeZero. But, I always like to say that (for the most part) holidays can be moved because it isn't about the day as much as what you are celebrating and, most importantly, with whom! :)

Justice, I hear you on the cooking thing. I am officially done with the traditional Thanksgiving day feast after this year. I'm not a huge fan of turkey and stuff, ect. So why do I continue to make it year after year.

Next year, it's steak or lobster. We'll go from there.

I'm debating on a chicken, since that's a more reasonable size for us, but that would still be 'cooking a bird for the sake of cooking a bird'. A pot roast might be better, if I can't come up with a real-food vegetable sort of option. (While i'm not vegetarian, from time to time, meat becomes unappetizing for awhile.)

I was watching some show that was talking about food that they actually had when they had the first Thanksgiving meal and they included muscles. I could go for that. I love seafood. :)
