sensei8
Judo has strikes; Atemi-waza.Even though Atemi-waza is only practiced in Kata, that doesn't mean that Atemi-waza's can't be transitioned outside of Kata to defend oneself if need be. **Proof is on the floor!!! JusticeZero
Yep. They're important to set some techniques up, I understand, even if only in the manner of "I pop him in the face just for the purpose of having him either block or try to grab my wrist, so that I have an arm to throw him with" "Anything worth doing is worth doing badly." - Baleia
xo-karate
I did Han Moo Do ( not Hanmudo). "Han Moo Do (also Hanmoodo) is a Korean-style martial art founded in Finland by Young Suk. It is mainly practiced in the Nordic countries. Hanmoodo contains almost all sectors of traditional martial arts and its exponents may participate in full-contact competition."Compared to Hapkido - Han Moo Do has less grappling, but is full contact sport.
