I used to be a rabid baseball fan. Then they had a strike. :kaioken: So I didn't watch the next season. And never really got back into it.

So here they are grossly overpaid and ready to strike :kaioken: again.

So do things like strikes affect your view of the so called "all american pastime".

Well, I am a big baseball fan, see my avatar? :) I believe that fans WILL come back, most of the diehard ones anyway, but I do believe that players and owners are taking advantage of this.

I'm with your Sai. I never got back into it either after the last one. I might watch a playoff game if there's nothing else on the tube, but it just isn't the same.

It's happy hour somewhere in the world.

I was never really into watching baseball except during the world series. These guys are overpaid and a bunch of premadonnas if they don't get what they want. I mean really how much money do you you need to never have to do anything useful in life :-? . But it's not just the players, the owners have dug themselves their own graves.....greedy freaks :kaioken:

I lost most of my interest after the last strike. I have no interest in millionaires fighting with billionaires over an obsenely large pile of money.

I really lost interest after the last stike. These guys are way overpaid. No wonder it costs an arm and a leg for a hot dog and a drink. The whole spirit of the game is lost when money is the prime focus...

I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.

I will never stop watching. The 94 strike stoped me from watching as much as I once did. Big Mac himself got me back in the game in the late 90's. I hope they go on strike and I hope the Owners bring in replacement players and finish the season. Play ball without them. Its the game not the players we love.....
