Dobbersky Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Japanese Judo Instructor Guilty of Killing 6 year old student I needed to pass this onto the Martial Arts Community, the original link ishttp://www.kyokushin4life.com/forums/showthread.php?p=232132#post232132---------------------------------------------------------------Something wrong here at least 114 deaths from Judo training between 83 and 2010 and this is an instructor guilty of the death of a 6 year old from repeatedly slamming him during training - sad to think this is a sport which is meant to develop character.http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/835...r-guilty-death "Challenge is a Dragon with a Gift in its mouth....Tame the Dragon and the Gift is Yours....." DWx Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Msn link won't work for me but wow. Was it just a freak accident or was it down to the instructor? If it was the later, that is disgusting. Someone in that position is in a position of trust. Not only because he is the teacher but also because he is of the higher skill level and so is in control. I always say its the more able person who has the responsibility to control the pace and level of the training. Thoughts go out to that poor child's family. bushido_man96 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Man, that's tragic. I'll pray for the family's loss. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
