Red J Posted September 20, 2002 Posted September 20, 2002 Our classes run 1 hour. The advanced class is also an hour but you stretch out before the class officially starts. I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
SBN Doug Posted September 20, 2002 Posted September 20, 2002 When I was in a full time school in Houston, the kids classes were 45 min. and adults were all 1 hour. Now that I go to a part time school an hour away, and only make it there once a week, I'm there from about 6:30 to 9:30 every Friday night. JerryLove Posted September 20, 2002 Posted September 20, 2002 Warmup (a Bagua routine done (ideally) at thigh's parallel) is about 30 minutes. Class is about 1.5 hours. Sparring ranges from 5 minutes to a half-hour. Then the upper phase class begins. That lasts until people's heads are full (anywhere from 1 to 3 hours). There's also a Taiji class before any of that which is about 90 minutes. https://www.clearsilat.com
Eye of the Tiger Posted September 21, 2002 Posted September 21, 2002 On friday I do okinwan kobujutsu which lasts for 2 hours and on sunday my Okiniwan Goju Ryu class lasts for 4 hours.
sk0t Posted September 21, 2002 Posted September 21, 2002 The little kids classes are about 45 minutes and the adults class is about an hour...sometimes it runs a little longer because it is the last class of the night... sk0t"I shall not be judged by what style I know, but how I apply that style againsts yours..."
Xtreme Fury Posted September 21, 2002 Posted September 21, 2002 I think 45 minutes to one hour is perfect for beginners and intermediates. 2 hours for really advanced people.
