Hi Everyone

I know there is a lot of talk out there about "the best Bokken". i have recently purchased a 45 inch Bokken from kingfisher woodworks and i love it. I was just wondering what Bokken other people prefer?

I get mine from Nine Circles in the UK, never had a bad one yet. They do bamboo ones for eco-warriors as well. Real solid bokken made from laminated bamboo.

If you are going to be doing any sparring with it, you want it made out of a hardwood, such as Maple or Oak. If you can practice with a longer Bokken than what you are supposed to be using, it will also strengthen your arms a bit more.

Weapons that I love to train with: Katana, Nunchuks, English Long Sword, French Rapier, Throwing knives, Arming Sword, Bo Staff, and English Broad Sword, and Guns.

Pain is the best instructor, but nobody likes to go to his class
