I know that both myself and Groinstrike are big Top Gear fans.

Aside from boots, bonnets, hoods, and trunks.

Gearbox=transmission

Saloon = Sedan

Car Park = Parking Lot

Wing = Fender

Estate = Wagon

Spanners = Wrenches

Lorry = Semi (or tractor in the NE)

Ariel = Antenna

Bump Start = Push Start

Cat's Eyes = Road reflectors/ Bots Dots

Zebra crossing = crosswalk

Don't forget caravans! Some of my favorite Top Gear BBC episodes involved caravans. But I think gearbox and bump start are pretty common here in the US, too.
