Iron Fist 05 Posted March 8, 2003 Posted March 8, 2003 This is what i think about weapon fighting and weapon training in general: Yes there is massive tradition in weapons, possibly more than the art itself, but there is one thing that actully makes a weapon a weapon; SELF DEFENSE. I try to choose a weapon that i can actully carry around, or at least find on the ground or nearby, like G95 said, That's why I like weapons like the whip chain, escrima, bo, and nunchaku. Yes, you're not going to find a regular nunchaku on the ground or put it in your pocket, very easily, but you CAN buy some that expand like a baton and put THAT in your pocket. I don't like knives because it's really easy to kill someone on accident with one, but that's just me. "By the time I was fifteen, I became a white belt."
Ali Posted March 13, 2003 Posted March 13, 2003 So my Chinese Kung Fu teacher told me before Hey,kiddo you can take a squash racket, short umbrella as Chinese blade if being attacked and also without acting against the law. Darkness grants me pair of dark black eye,Yet I determine to look for Brightness
