Dobbersky Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 All, I have bought a 180cm and a 190cm Gi, but I'm a XXL in size the Blitz Gi's are not wide enough and I don't want to buy a 200 or a 210cm Gi as the arms/legs will be too big. I borrowed an XL cracked fingers Gi which fitted me perfectly. I don't want to buy an expensive one as I'd only where it a few times a yearThanksKen "Challenge is a Dragon with a Gift in its mouth....Tame the Dragon and the Gift is Yours....." pittbullJudoka Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 I had a judo gi from pro force I used in hard bjj traing for about a year before it gave up the ghost. Now mind you I paid $35 whole sale for it and it gave me my money's worth for what I paid compared to the use I got from it.
boyo1991 Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 my judo gi is a single weave gi i bought from my dojo for 50 dollars exactly. its sturdy and works great. im planning on getting a competition gi later on but yah check a local dojo and see if they wont let you buy one. "ok, well i must warn you, im an orange belt on karateforums!"
Kevin Wilson Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 I find Adidas judo gi's are wider than normal . Also kwon do a fairly cheap judo gi. It used to be ijf approved before ijf got greedy. Brutus Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I have a Blitz Kokura Gi, size 4. Usually I take a size six, but this fits really well. Got it for £3.50 from a local charity shop. "Really, if someone grabs you, you just punch 'em in the face and run..."
