DWx Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 So did any of you guys watch? My department at uni clearly don't understand the meaning of a "public holiday" as I had lectures scheduled over the whole thing! - I'm still fuming over being made to miss it all. "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
sensei8 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I watched it and I totally enjoyed it, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. **Proof is on the floor!!!
bushido_man96 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I tried to avoid it, but really couldn't. My wife and daughter were terribly interested, so I didn't have a lot of choice. I did get some reading done, though, and thankfully had to work that night. It wasn't on the radio.... https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
sensei8 Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I watched it and I totally enjoyed it, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. You all can now see what my life has turned into as of late!! Someone HELP!! **Proof is on the floor!!!
bushido_man96 Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I'm not sure we can help you, Bob. Just kidding. Now, what you need to do is just get yourself to a NASCAR race and get all desensitized. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
DWx Posted May 11, 2011 Author Posted May 11, 2011 I watched it and I totally enjoyed it, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. You all can now see what my life has turned into as of late!! Someone HELP!! Nothing wrong with watching it; this is the stuff Disney films are made of I'm by no means a fan of the monarchy but was pretty cool getting to watch all the pagaentry and all that. Patrick Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Yeah, nothing wrong with it. It's no different from NASCAR, really. Just two different races. I saw this, not sure how legitimate it is, but it was kinda funny: http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/145736/20110514/beatrice-princess-hat-royal-wedding-cinderella-montage.htmPatrick Patrick O'Keefe - KarateForums.com AdministratorHave a suggestion or a bit of feedback relating to KarateForums.com? Jay Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 I didn't really care for it to be honest. I was wondering how many millions of pounds they spent on security and transport and all the rest of it when the governments money is already non existant and could be put toward something with a long term use like a school or hospital or something. But hey thats just me. I know that the girls like to watch weddings but I didn't mind missing it to be honest. It seemed to me that I was in the minority that wasn't going to watch it judging from the people in the supermarket. I think it will probably be on iplayer if you haven't seen it yet and want to watch it DWx The key to everything is continuity achieved by discipline.

In the film cinderella had blonde hair and the ugly sister's had different yellow and pink dresses.Princess Beatrice's hat is being auctioned on eBay for charity: http://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e11030.m43.l1123/7?euid=ea068c3e512141fe9bb34a0429ad5c15&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.co.uk%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D230620500557%26ssPageName%3DADME%3AB%3AEF%3AGB%3A1123If anyone wants to go halves on it, drop me a PM I didn't really care for it to be honest. Sure that money could have been spent on things that were a lot more worthwhile but it'd be interesting to know how much money was made. All those tourists travelling to London, quite a few from overseas too. And all the merchandise that was sold. Probably wont bother watching it again. I did catch the end of it, when they came out on the balcony, and watched the highlights. Watching it after the fact somehow isn't as exciting as watching stuff live "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
Patrick Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Ah, that's disappointing, Danielle. Darn. In addition, speaking for the thread moving forward, let's go ahead and keep economics, etc. off of this one, as that veers into general political discussion. I appreciate it.
