So did any of you guys watch?

My department at uni clearly don't understand the meaning of a "public holiday" as I had lectures scheduled over the whole thing! - I'm still fuming over being made to miss it all.

I tried to avoid it, but really couldn't. My wife and daughter were terribly interested, so I didn't have a lot of choice. I did get some reading done, though, and thankfully had to work that night. It wasn't on the radio....

I'm by no means a fan of the monarchy but was pretty cool getting to watch all the pagaentry and all that.

I didn't really care for it to be honest. I was wondering how many millions of pounds they spent on security and transport and all the rest of it when the governments money is already non existant and could be put toward something with a long term use like a school or hospital or something. But hey thats just me. I know that the girls like to watch weddings but I didn't mind missing it to be honest. It seemed to me that I was in the minority that wasn't going to watch it judging from the people in the supermarket. I think it will probably be on iplayer if you haven't seen it yet and want to watch it DWx

I've seen that too but sadly its photoshopped. In the film cinderella had blonde hair and the ugly sister's had different yellow and pink dresses.

See I'm not sure about how much of a drain on the economy it was. Sure that money could have been spent on things that were a lot more worthwhile but it'd be interesting to know how much money was made. All those tourists travelling to London, quite a few from overseas too. And all the merchandise that was sold.

Probably wont bother watching it again. I did catch the end of it, when they came out on the balcony, and watched the highlights. Watching it after the fact somehow isn't as exciting as watching stuff live
