GaryMo Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I reckon the lack of a voice would be something I could still train with!

sojobo Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 (edited) You could always try training with a small kazoo in your mouth?[edit] or party blower?Just a thought.PS... Safety first - don't actually train with stuff in your mouth Edited April 15, 2011 by sojobo I know violence isn't the answer... I got it wrong on purpose!!!http://www.karatedo.co.jp/wado/w_eng/e_index.htm
Wastelander Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 so you think that i should still go.. even if we all get introuble if one person doesnt kiaJust tell your instructor (as best you can, anyway) if your voice is still gone and you can't kiai and it shouldn't be a problem. Remember, when you kiai it isn't the noise that is important, it is the compression of your core and the release of energy, and you can do that without a voice. honoluludesktop Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 If you go to the dojo, you may infect others, and that's not cool.
