MasterPain
Hi guys, havent posted in a good long while.does anyone near Toronto know of any knife training or knife defense clinics/ classes near the GTA?I've been invloved in the martial arts for most of my life, its one thing I'm still scared of!thanks,RyanI'm afraid I can't say much about Toronto, but I will advocate the Filipino martial arts. They're more concerned with combative effectiveness than tradition. Look for Escrima, Kali, or Arnis.Being afraid of knives is not a bad thing. Training and gaining competence will help keep it from being a paralyzing fear, but to have no fear is to be deluded. Tzu-Logic
I second the Filipino martial arts for being incredibly practical when it comes to weapons training. Learn stick fighting and you won't worry about people with knives as much. Or if you are really worried about being attacked I suggest studying the arts of 'click-pow' or 'glock-fu' A warrior may choose pacifism, all others are condemned to it."Under the sky, under the heavens, there is but one family." -Bruce Lee

Groinstrike
Is there a concealed carry law in Ontario, or in Canada for that matter. I am ignorant to such things.

Agenda
There are very few places that teach how to fight with knives. Mostly they provide several defense techniques against knives and that's it.
