Best heavyweight gi?

What's in your opinion the best heavyweight karate gi that combines good quality and price?

Imho, Century's Ironman Gi is solid, however, not many can afford the $119 price tag, still, it's worth every penny across the board.

Ronin makes a decent heavyweight gi for people with a low budget--I picked one up a few years ago and it works fine, but it's bulkier than my Arashi

Tokaido makes a first rate Gi. Traditional and expensive, but a great product.

I actually like my Blitz heavyweights, and have with all that I have had from their, although I admit I have not indulged in a Tokaido.

I would love however to have a Meijin Gi but cannot source them in the UK anywhere. Have they gone??

I don't have a source for Meijin in the UK, but it's a product of Dragon/Tsunami. Maybe ask them if someone distributes Meijin there. I wouldn't be surpised since they're UK ex-pats!

I have a Tokaido Kata Master and am thrilled with it. Maybe it's not the best, but it's surely a decent one.

I have answered this questioned many times before, but, I never get tried of recommended the Meijin brand uniform/gi. I own a Tokon, Iron man, Tokaido, but hands down prefer the Meijin. The price is GREAT for everything you get. Uniform fits great, can even get half sizes, purchase split sizes if needed, and can get free Kanji embroidery. I own one of their black premium uniforms as well as a white pro and a white tropical and love them all. I am really a fan of the Piranha Gear 4/5 sleeve heavy weight karate gi. They aren't nearly the price of the Tokaido range of gi's but I have never worn their quality anywhere else.

I really think this is a great gi if your on a budget and want to wear something that can rival a better brand name. https://www.kiintl.com offers some great stuff at a good(low) price. But they aren't better quality than the Piranha from what I have seen so far.

To be fair to everyone I won't wear a Tokaido because of the price tag. Incredible products out there though. Im a piranha man.

I purchased a Piranha gi and the fabric seemed to be of good quality but it ran short in size. I am 5' 7" and it just did not work for me. I like a nice traditional length in the legs and this was just way to short. Not sure if others have experienced the same thing or not. Might be great for those who are shorter in height as it did seem well constructed otherwise.
