TKD information

Recommended Posts

I once trained with a man who said he studied combat Taekwondo witch he said was used by the korean elite marines and that elusive tiger brigade (not sure on thier actual name) but i have since lost contact with this man. i was very impresed with what he taught me and since then i have been looking for a place that teaches Taekwon do like this. so far i have only found competitions style Taekwon do academies witch i personally think is useless (dont mean to offend anyone)

but if anyone knows of an academy\centre etc that teaches combat Taekwon do could they let me know

Pain is just an excuse to stop made by your mind

i think womaf organziation teaches combat taekwondo.. but it's not a big organazation, it's really small actually. i doubt anyone here heard of it. i don't think this helps any, but if u do find a taekwondo school in the womaf organzation, it's combat tkd.

It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye.

Yes the WOMAF, (the World Oriental Martial Arts Federation), is a training federation for martial artists involved in Hapkido, Combat TaeKwonDo, Judo, Jujitsu, and Aikido. But what you are referring to is traditional tae kwon do (combat & self defense) rather than "sport & competition" which WTK-style schools concentrate on.

Go to http://www.combattkd.com/ .... click on the "links" (I was :) to see my school there!)

Good Luck!
